Telemetry Technician - Per Diem - Days - 131769

Under the supervision of the on duty charge nurse, the hospital telemetry technician carries out dysrhythmia monitoring responsibilities.
Monitors, identifies, and reports to RN cardiac rhythms, arrhythmias, and any changes in baseline rhythm. Communicates with physicians and nurses any changes in rate, rhythm, measurements.
Acts as resource to staff. Achieves trust in professional relationship with nursing staff and physicians.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
- Successful completion of a telemetry technician course / and or ECG training course.
- A minimum of one (1) year of Telemetry Tech experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Telemetry Tech Certification.
- One (1) year of Telemetry Tech experience in an ICU environment.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range : $60,990 - $60,990 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent : $29.21 - $29.21
