Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead you'll troubleshoot, service, repair aircraft and engine systems. You'll coordinate maintenance activities with the Aircraft Scheduler, use our maintenance tracking software to ensure all Federal Aviation Administration airworthiness requirements are met.
Research, order and ship out parts. Tows aircraft. Available 24 / 7 for any aircraft maintenance needs.
Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and preventive maintenance on the corporate fleet of aircraft
- Act as a contact for information about maintenance activities on company aircraft before it is returned to service
- Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Coordinate maintenance activities with the Aircraft Flight Scheduler
- Serve on the shift rotation for early launches, late arrivals and discrepancy resolution
- Electrical troubleshooting, tool fabrication and aircraft towing
- Accompany aircraft on flight-testing and evaluation following maintenance
- Research, order, receive and ships return parts for maintenance activities
- Attend recurrent aircraft technical training to maintain professional currency
- Maintains 24-hour availability to resolve aircraft maintenance problems for the assigned aircraft, except for scheduled vacations, holidays, and personal days
- Maintain our aviation management software, CAMP
- Handle compliances to keep assigned aircraft’s maintenance data file current
- Maintain hangar and ground support equipment
- Maintain tooling and shop equipment, including repair, acquisition, design, and fabrication of tooling that can be built in house;
Note : Maintenance Technicians are trained and qualified on applicable hangar and shop equipment and procedures
Tow aircraft and acts a wing-walker during aircraft movement
Requirements :
- High School Diploma required
- Vocational School, or equivalent experience required to obtain a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Minimum five (5) years of General Aviation experience with at least three (3) years turbine powered aircraft experience
- Training and / or experience on company aircraft, engines, and avionics systems (Citation Latitude and Garmin G5000 Avionics)
- Electrical troubleshooting, tool fabrication, aircraft towing
- Able to be on call 27 / 7
