Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to) :
- Design and develop low-voltage switchgear products for global markets.
- Provide technical support during sales, production, and after-sales processes.
- Improve existing products by enhancing performance and reducing costs.
- Work with teams to ensure smooth product development and launch.
- Prepare technical documents and help resolve any issues during prototyping and production.
Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role :
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, or related field (exceptional candidates without this degree may be considered).
- 5+ years of experience in engineering design for low-voltage switchgear or 3+ years in product development.
- Ability to review technical documents and solve design problems.
- Experience with single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and communication topology.
- Knowledge of international standards for low-voltage switchgear (e.g., GB7251, IEC61439, UL).
- Proficient in CAD, Office, and 3D software.
- Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting / presentations via teams or in person.
