Key ResponsibilitiesParticipates in ALJ hearings and collaborates with medical professionals and CMS contractorsReviews ALJ decisions for quality and provides training to improve decision-makingSupports contract administration activities, including Congressional inquiries and FOIA requestsRequired QualificationsJuris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in state barThree years of legal experienceExperience with Medicare claims preferredParticipation in Administrative or Judicial proceedings preferred
