ShelterCare's Short Term Housing (STH) program of Eugene, OR is hiring a full-time Program Manager . This position is a supervisory position and is part of the management team that reports to the Senior Director of Housing Services.
The STH Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that the program's policies and procedures meet the agency's values.
Those values include collaboration; person-centered services; result-focused and evidence-based activities; agility and flexibility;
integrity and care; a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; and trauma-informed care.
The Program Manager is an exempt salaried position with a yearly salary range of $60,590 - $65,130 ; based on qualifications.

ABOUT SHELTERCARE
ShelterCare is a social services agency that is directed by a board of community volunteers . We have multiple programs in the Eugene / Springfield area.
We offer a range of housing solutions combined with wraparound services for families and community members who are experiencing homelessness, on the verge of becoming homeless and have a serious mental illness.
Because of the variety of services we offer, we are able to help many people in our community.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Degree in Social Work or a related field, or the equivalence in years of experience with progressive increases in responsibility AND at least two years of experience with populations that are experiencing extremely low income or poverty.
Essential Skills
Effective Communication; Negotiation and Collaboration; Scheduling and Time Management; Leadership; Risk Management; Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving;
Use of technology for email spreadsheets, documents, etc.
Physical Requirements
- Work involves sitting most of the day greater than 50% of the time; Repetitive motion : Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and / or fingers (computer use);
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as : preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal;
extensive reading, primarily on a computer monitor; Occasional travel required for offsite meetings and events (normally less than 10% of the time).
