WUCF FM & TV are an NPR-affiliated public radio station and a PBS-affiliated public television station, licensed to and located at the University of Central Florida.

The Opportunity :

The Senior Producer position will pitch and research stories, write scripts, act as a videographer in production, and help shape editorial high-quality content for WUCF on multiple platforms.

The position will also work in a supportive role for the WUCF production team as needed.

Responsibilities :

Shoot and edit on WUCF provided equipment.

Research and pitch stories that align with content strategies and goals.

Writes and edits scripts under deadline.

Edit broadcast and digital content.

Supports production with studio and field production and other duties as assigned.

Understands and continues training and learning on WUCF television equipment.

Recommends department objectives and workflows that create better efficiencies using new technologies.

Under leadership of the Managing Producer, works to create new programs and services to help further the WUCF mission and vision.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla.

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior videography experience.

Prior Producer experience.

Knowledge of Adobe software systems.

Prior digital content creation experience.
