Position Summary : The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to delivery.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in supply chain management, particularly within the industrial machinery manufacturing industry.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and strong supplier relationships.
- Manage inventory levels to balance customer demand and minimize costs.
- Optimize logistics and distribution networks to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and sales, to streamline operations.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the industrial machinery manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful supply chain strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
