Flexible Remote Work Setting : The Marketsmith Inc office is open for jobs that require that in-person support, but the team is predominantly working from home as we have fully transitioned to a work-from-anywhere model.

Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who is focused on building our clients’ business through the negotiation and placement of media, setting up campaigns and analyzing the results for media.
This person will get exposure to various forms of media and must be willing to learn and grow within the role.
- Provide daily review of delivery and performance using IQ and buying platforms for all campaigns assigned to you
- Monitor and deliver both internal and external updates on performance vs. goal, WoW and YoY and provide recommendations to optimize across platforms, tactics, and within creative units.
- Assist in the development of media plans by evaluating opportunities, researching pricing, market conditions, competitive spending and trends for the target audiences as well as outcomes from similar campaigns / clients.
- Responsible for the negotiation, placement, and reporting of media across channels
- Management and oversight of campaigns within local & national Cable TV
- Management and oversight of campaigns within local digital (e.g. FB / IG, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Foster an understanding of the IQ platform across the media team, including a consistent feedback loop to Supervisor on ways to drive continued improvement in the reporting suite and team functions to drive performance and optimization across media types.
- Build and implement campaigns in STRATA / Bionic
- Oversee invoice review and reconciliation within STRATA / Bionic
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with media sales representatives of local, regional, and national media (if applicable)
- Work with the media team to make sure all orders and specifications are given to the account director in a timely manner to meet creative deadlines
- Develop and present POVs to Supervisor & CP, for on-going media opportunities for clients to help grow their business objectives
- Stay current with evolving media trends
- Client reporting and budget management, including preparing costs for clients and producing spending updates throughout the campaign
- Attend all relevant client / vendor / internal meetings
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Communication, Marketing, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in media buying
- Willingness to learn and grow in an omni-channel environment
- Proficient in DCM, STRATA, and Microsoft Office
- Team-player with a demonstrated ability to be innovative and agile, while working in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Highly organized and can manage multiple projects at once
- Strong written and communication skills
