Overview
Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI) is seeking a Global Position Attack SME to provide onsite support the Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC) at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
Air Combat Command, with headquarters at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., is a major command. It was created June 1, 1992, by combining Strategic Air Command and Tactical Air Command.
ACC is the primary provider of air combat forces to America's warfighting commanders.
Air Combat Command is the primary force provider of combat airpower to America's warfighting commands. To support the global implementation of national security strategy, ACC operates fighter, reconnaissance, battle-management, and electronic-combat aircraft.
It also provides command, control, communications and intelligence systems, and conducts global information operations.
PSI Supports the A5 / 8 / 9 Plans, Programs and Requirements, Headquartered at Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
Supporting planning and programming $60 billion annually, for a force of more than 150,000 personnel and more than 2,000 aircraft, supporting 10 unified commands and the North American Aerospace Defense Command.
We also support functions related to the Combat Air Forces’ weapons systems acquisition, modernization, sustainment and test involving more than 140 programs.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
- The candidate will support ACC A589 by translating weapon system requirements into documented studies and analyses. This will include providing technical and analytical assistance to assess weapon system capabilities and translate system requirements into resource evaluation and documentation products.
- The candidate will support Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) to effectively plan, program, budget, and execute resource requirements.
- Assist in performing capabilities, program, and cost analyses for new and modified systems to include managing, developing, and analyzing resource documentation for the core A5 / 8 / 9 missions in support of program execution.
This includes building and defending 4-Star decision data via the USAF Strategic Planning and Programming Process and directly influencing the POM process once those planning decisions are made.
The candidate will support efforts to accomplish studies, technical analysis, and reports. These efforts will provide information necessary to determine capability gaps, inefficiencies, and effectiveness of capabilities to combat current threats within the A5 / 8 / 9 mission areas.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
- Experience on USAF MAJCOM or higher AF Level Staff.
- Experience as a rated operational CAF Air to Ground fighter experience.
- Top Secret Clearance, Sensitive Compartmental Information eligible.
- Weapons School Graduate (Preferred).
