We are working with a NYC based Private Equity firm. They focus mostly on acquiring LP interests of distressed and special situations funds in the US.
Performance is stellar, vintage-leading IRRs with very strong TVPIs. They are asking us to identify a Manager of Fund Accounting.
This is a newly created role and will be the 2nd highest ranking person in Accounting and Finance. This person will oversee the work of the Fund Accountants.
Salary : $150k-$200k
Responsibilities :
- Strong knowledge and experience in financial statements preparation, fund accounting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in NAV calculations and understanding of fund accounting principles Supervise and review work of fund accountants
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify discrepancies
Required Qualifications :
- 7- 10 years of total experience
- Prior Private Equity experience
- CPA preferred
