Asbury Heights, a vibrant senior living community in Pittsburgh, is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Activity Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in enriching the lives of our residents by planning, coordinating, and implementing engaging activities that promote their well-being and happiness.
What You'll Do :
- Plan, develop, and implement a variety of daily activities that cater to residents' interests and abilities.
- Create a stimulating calendar of events and activities, encompassing social, educational, physical, and creative pursuits.
- Collaborate with and schedule volunteers to assist with activity programs.
- Work closely with residents to develop personalized activity plans that align with their preferences and goals.
- Track resident participation and progress in activities, making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure all activities are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for residents of varying abilities.
Who You Are :
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in a related field a plus).
- Have prior experience working with seniors in a senior living community or similar setting (preferred).
- Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with staff, residents, and families.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, with some evenings and weekend hours required.
