The Pharmacy Consultant provides expert advice on medication management, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency to healthcare facilities and pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess pharmacy operations and provide recommendations for improvement in medication management practices.
- Offer guidance on regulatory compliance, including accreditation standards and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions for pharmacy staff on various topics, including medication safety and operational procedures.
- Review medication utilization and provide insights to optimize therapy outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care through effective medication management strategies.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience.
- Licensure as a pharmacist in the relevant province or state.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with clients.
