Responsibilities and Qualifications :

• Caregivers adaptable to various settings like agencies, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living, etc.
• Strong attendance record, showcasing reliability and commitment to the role.
• Belief in the ability to positively impact clients' lives, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
• Proficient in personal and companion care duties, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Consistent implementation of client care plans and assessments to provide tailored, high-quality care.
• Adherence to company policies, including dress code, time off, and communication protocols.
• Accurate clocking in and out of every shift using the appropriate systems.
• Alertness to changes in clients' behavior or health, promptly notifying The Journey Ahead Home Care Agency personnel if necessary.
• Attentive and empathetic care for clients with dementia, assisting with personal care tasks, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, and providing companionship.
• Ensuring clients' safety, security, and dignity in a comfortable environment.

Requirements :

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Reliable transportation (not necessary) and clean driving record
• Comfort with pets and occasional smoking
• Pre-Employment Physical Clearance
• Tuberculosis Test
• BLS or CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Authorization to work in the US
