American Caging (ACI) is looking for a Senior Accountant to work directly for the owner / CEO. ACI is the escrow agent for approximately 35 non profit organizations (NPO's).
Each NPO has a QuickBooks account where daily deposits and disbursements are recorded.
Responsibilities :
- Comparing on line banking activity to the deposits / disbursements in each non profit's QuickBooks register;
- Generate weekly reports showing bank account activity for the week;
- Reconcile each bank account at the end of each month. Send bank statement reconciliation reports to NPO's.
- Investigate any "uncleared" transactions to determine why funds have not credited the account.
- Direct client contact includes telephone conversations, zoom meetings, email messages with clients.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with QuickBooks and other current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented. Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
