Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Framing Foreman / Lead Carpenter at Buchanan and Sons Inc. The role involves overseeing construction projects, coordinating with subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring quality work, and leading a team of carpenters.
The position requires hands-on carpentry work, including rough framing, timber framing, siding, trim, and other framing requirements involving commercial and residential framing.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills : Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Heavy Equipment Skills : Experience with operating and overseeing heavy equipment
- Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Carpentry Skills : Proficiency in carpentry techniques and practices
- Maintenance Skills : Knowledge of building maintenance and repair
- Experience in construction industry
- Certification in Carpentry or related field
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
