We are looking for a Manager, SMC Marketing to join Snap Inc’s global Small and Medium Customers (SMC) organization. This role will produce multi-channel events programs with the goal of driving advertiser acquisition and revenue growth and retention.

The role will build global events and closely align with cross-functional teams (Revenue, Business Development), while collaborating with external and internal teams to bring events to life.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven events marketer who brings directly relevant experience in strategizing on and building events programming.

What you’ll do :

Work cross-functionally to develop end-to-end events strategy for various audiences, with the goal of driving revenue growth and other business KPIs

Manage vendors and internal stakeholders to produce events ranging from in-person tent poles to virtual events and gatherings

Collaborate with communications team to develop positioning and messaging for SMC’s programming

Collaborate with lifecycle marketing and data science in order to ensure alignment of post-event and measurement strategy

Support content creation for marketing materials to support events including presentation decks, print material swag, event branding materials

Own project management and contract negotiations related to event production

Travel often to oversee events, sometimes internationally

Stay ahead of industry trends in order innovate on events marketing

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Proven track record in developing multichannel event programming to drive well defined business goals

Keen understanding of business goals and how to create events that drive these goals for specific audience segments

Experience developing and managing event budgets while creating impactful event experiences

Experience working within defined marketing budgets and resources

Strong project management skills, particularly in a rapidly changing environment

Ability to work across multiple functions and stakeholders to execute complex events strategy

Experience leading internal content, creative design and web development teams

Self-starter with strong collaboration skills and ability to multitask. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and is comfortable with ambiguity

Experience or familiarity in working with the media or digital advertising industry

This role will require domestic and international travel

Minimum Qualifications :

BS / BA degree or equivalent years of experience

10+ years experience in events marketing

Preferred Qualifications :

Direct experience with events marketing

Passion for change, Snapchat, and creativity!

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

These pay zones may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this position is $168,000-$252,000 annually.

The base salary range for this position is $160,000-$239,000 annually.

The base salary range for this position is $143,000-$214,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
