Accounts Receivable Clerk

$22-28 hourly (Based on experience)
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and monitoring accounts, processing payments, and reconciling outstanding invoices.
This role requires strong attention to detail, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work closely with both internal teams and customers to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing : Create and distribute invoices in a timely manner, ensuring they are consistent with company practices.
Payment Processing : Accurately record customer payments, update account statements, and ensure proper processing of all payments.
Collections : Follow up on past due accounts and initiate courteous soft collection calls to resolve outstanding invoices.
Account Reconciliation : Compare records to ensure accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
Customer Service : Provide daily customer support via phone and email, discussing payment resolutions, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring a positive experience.
Record Keeping : Maintain accurate customer and payment records in the company system.
Financial Reporting : Prepare and compile necessary financial reports for management and other stakeholders.
Cross-department Collaboration : Meet regularly with other departments to foster teamwork and promote effective communication.
Qualifications
Must have at least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
