Role Overview :

We are seeking a Project Finance Associate with 4 years ofexperience to join the Energy Project Development and Financepractice at our clients Boston or Washington DC offices.

The idealcandidate will have substantial experience in US projectdevelopment and finance specifically with distributed andutilityscale renewable energy projects.

Proficiency in handlingprincipal financing documentation and key commercial projectdocumentation is essential.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide legal support for the energy projectdevelopment and finance practice.
  • Manage USproject development and finance activities for distributed andutilityscale renewable energy projects.
  • Overseeprincipal financing documentation including purchase agreementspartnership agreements credit agreements security and pledgeagreements and depositary agreements.
  • Handlekey commercial project documentation including developmentagreements PPAs EPCs site control and interconnection agreements aswell as related due diligence.
  • Collaborateeffectively with team members working from the office approximately60% of the time in accordance with the firms publishedguidelines.

Skills andQualifications :

  • JD orLLM from an ABAaccredited law school.
  • Admittedor eligible for admission in MA DC NY or CA.
  • Atleast four years of project finance experience at a lawfirm.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
  • Professionalism inworking and engaging with demandingclients.
  • Ability to balance and prioritizemultiple competing priorities andresponsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skillsand attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborateand work effectively in team settings.

Location :

  • Preferred office locations : Boston andWashington DC.
  • The firm encourages working fromthe office approximately 60% of the time following publishedguidelines.
