What You’ll Do : As an Arts Program Assistant at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, you’ll be a key part of planning and running exciting arts programs for youth ages 6-18.
From visual and performing arts to culinary and literary adventures, you’ll help create a vibrant space for creativity and self-expression.
Responsibilities include :
- Leading and assisting in a variety of arts programming such as visual, performing, culinary, and literary arts.
- Organizing fun trips, events, and special activities for youth.
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safe environment throughout the program.
- Collaborating with other departments and clubs to create exciting, cross-functional events.
- Helping assess and improve the impact of our programs through regular evaluation.
- Supporting and mentoring youth to develop their creative skills, while providing guidance and discipline when necessary.

What We’re Looking For :
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Experience in leading youth arts programs whether visual, performing, culinary, or literary.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with diverse youth and families.
- CPR / FA certification (or willingness to obtain it).
- A team player who is flexible, creative, and eager to have fun while making a difference.
Job Type : Part-Time
Schedule : Mon-Fri 2 : 30p-7 : 30p
Compensation : Pay Range Depending on Relevant Experience & Internal Equity.
