Inventory Manager

Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle. We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager with warehouse experience to join our team in the Evansville, Indiana area.

This position will require the ideal candidate to work with limited supervision and must have the ability to work, think and operate independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively ensure the inventory system is properly configured and is optimized for efficient operation .

Utilize the inventory system to manage accurate inventory , track new orders and shipments, resolve any discrepancies, adjust as needed, and conduct physical counts.

Generate purchase orders and track usage rates for optimal inventory levels and lead times. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure proper receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory. Assign and track storage locations within the warehouse to ensure best practices.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management. Prepare for and support internal and external audits of inventory records and processes.

Maintain accurate documentation and records in the inventory system for audit purposes. Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.

Provide timely inventory status updates to management and other stakeholders. Develop and present recommendations for improving inventory management processes.

Train and support team in the use of the inventory system and best practices for inventory management. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in inventory management technology.
