Our client in Rockville, MD is looking for a new Commercial Contracts Manager to join their team!
Job Title : Commercial Contracts Manager
Location : Rockville, MD
Type : Contract to Hire
Schedule : Five days a week in office.
Job Duties :
- Lead and / or assist in the negotiation and drafting of various commercial contracts, including but not limited to confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements, collaboration agreements, vendor contracts, and professional services agreements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments on proposed contracts, identifying potential legal and business risks, and providing strategic guidance to mitigate those risks.
- Manage contracts database.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to understand business objectives and align contract terms accordingly.
- Stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations in the industry and ensure that all contracts adhere to legal and compliance standards.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar or Paralegal Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial contract negotiation and contract drafting.
- Strong understanding of legal principles and contract law
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
