Purpose :
This position will be responsible for the development of the company's specific product lines for New Business Development (NBD) targeting novel photo lithography market segments in the US market including but not limited to AR / VR, Nano Imprint, and Semiconductor related segments.
Oversees the development of strategic NBD business plans in designated segments; identifies and supports directly and indirectly target volume and strategic customers;
and directly manages a team of Account Managers within the NBD market. Develops annual sales plan for NBD and provides regular updates on status and activities to management.
Cooperates with EU and Japan on establishing pricing strategies for the NBD markets. Works with engineering and manufacturing groups to develop, maintain and enhance NBD product road map in alignment with customer needs.
Calls on customers with Account Managers to generate incremental orders or new business. Attends customer technology forums and industry events to publicize and communicate NBD product and service offerings.
Understands the competitive situation at the target and customer markets. Evaluates, designs, and implements promotions for these events.
Responsible for managing several complex accounts / customers / clients that are of critical importance to the company, individually and through small teams.
Identifies and properly handles complex issues requiring a high level of expertise in decision making.
Knowledge / Experience :
- Minimum of ten years related experience, preferably within the Semiconductor or related segments.
- Solid understanding of sales process and interactions with customers at a middle management and technical level on key programs.
- Strong practical and technical knowledge in applications of technology to the product or service being offered and its application to the end-market use of the technology.
Experience at a semiconductor company, or related product or service company in the same market area may substitute.
- Experience in program and project management.
- College degree in Technical or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for degree.
