Job Description
Maintenance Mechanic Assistant
Duties :
Assist maintenance with production equipment for a food processing plant. Lubricate machinery, change parts, defrost machinery, or help perform other routine machinery maintenance.
Requirements :
- 18 or older required
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must have own tools
- Must have some experience in the maintenance department, preferably with a food manufacturer
- Must be able to follow directions and work well with others
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Have the ability to move through different work areas and climb on ramps, step stools and ladders.
- Must be willing to work in variety of temperatures.
