Smart Trades is in need of experienced ASE Certified Mechanics to begin work IMMEDIATELY for our client's busy shops in the Salt Lake Valley area and surrounding!! This is a great long-term opportunity for a reliable person with a can-do attitude.
Responsibilities :
- Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
- Repair : Diagnose and repair problems, including worn parts, electrical issues, and engine overhauls
- Installation : Install or replace parts, such as sensors, wheel bearings, and brake pads
- Troubleshooting : Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems
- Communication : Explain problems and repairs to clients
- Documentation : Keep records and make reports
Job Requirements :
- Must possess 4-5 years of automotive maintenance experience automotive technician training
- Must be ASE Certified
- Able to work from 6 am to as late as 7 pm if needed
- Must have reliable private transportation
- Dexterity and coordination
- Mechanical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems
- Customer service skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with complex electronic control systems
- Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment well
