Job Summary
The Facilities & Maintenance technician performs general facilities / maintenance duties on third shift, including equipment preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment replacement as well as general facilities maintenance and repair duties with minimal supervision.
Primary focus will be on completing PM’s for production related equipment unless production is running and operational support is required.
Responsibilities :
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to reduce downtime.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on our buildings and supporting infrastructure such as, but not limited to, repairing doors, walls, roofing and lights.
- Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures while recommending or implementing preventative measures.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair production equipment, both electrical and mechanical, across all production lines.
- Collaborate with our Environmental, Health and Safety team and plant leadership to resolve / prevent potential safety hazards.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years relevant Maintenance or technical background in similar role.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude (LOTO experience required).
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
