Job Description
A large financial institution is seeking a Database Engineer to join a high priority regulatory reporting project. This individual will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation and maintenance of a new Snowflake database design.
In their day to day, they will be working alongside a team of four other individuals, assembling complex datasets and creating analytical tools within the new database to deliver on key business requirements as outlined by stakeholders.
This person should be an excellent communicator and feel comfortable holding high level conversations with business partners to explain project progress, functionality, and forecasted paths to success.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-4 years of experience in a Database Engineer / Developer role focused on the planning, design, and management of new databases
- Experience creating / managing reporting structures and reporting schema
- Strong experience utilizing PowerBI or similar platforms in previous roles
- AWS cloud environment experience
- Excellent planning and project mapping skills
- Experience communicating to and collaborating with high level business partners
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in designing Snowflake based databases
- Familiarity with OLAP (online analytical processing) and OLTP (online transactional processing) design
- Local to MN
