SUMMARY

The Sales Engineer will report to the Director of Sales. This position will have a wealth of knowledge about business unit's product, and responsible for analyzing market trends, develop sales, price and profitability strategies, recommend improvements, identify opportunities and increase revenue with a focus on end users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical and manufacturing knowledge of Business Unit's products
  • Develop product sales plan with focus on end users and channel targets
  • Manage product strategy through understanding market research and competitive landscape
  • Partner with marketing for NPI deployment
  • Compare the Business Unit's products to competitor's products in order to assess competition in market
  • Share technical expertise via training, shows, walkdowns
  • Assist in business development to develop channel expansion
  • Identity next target end user
  • Own brand specific / business unit product strategy
  • Working with NPSM own product growth opportunities
  • Working with NPSM own product development needs
  • Work with Operations to provide product planning and delivery
  • Drive sales effectiveness by ensuring adequate product knowledge and selling skills for NAM Meet monthly, quarterly, annual sales objectives by distribution channel, product category and end-user segments.
  • Develop merchandizing strategies to meet the needs of the end user and distributors
  • Develop pricing plans to meet the business' financial margins
  • Cultivate stocking strategies to align with the customer requirements

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related curriculum and / or 5 years relevant sales and sales management experience in the safety and industrial channel.
  • Must maintain high level of integrity with representation of Justrite Safety Group.
  • Willingness to travel by automobile and air 60% of time
  • Experience managing independent mfg. reps
  • Sound understanding of CRM systems
  • Extensive experience in safety supply or similar business to business industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication skills required
  • Excellent computer skills - Office suite, Salesforce, PowerBi
