Diesel Mechanic
The focus of this position will be to provide Diesel Engine and other mechanical / electrical / hydraulic repairs on a wide range of customers from the excavation, construction and paving industries.
You will be working with heavy equipment, "yellow iron".
This is a full-time position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Perform routine fleet services and repairs, and any emergency repairs that may be necessary from time to time.
- Is skilled in all aspects of maintenance including welding and fabrication.
- Complete services or repairs without supervision.
Work Environment :
- Garage environment
- Exposure to loud noise, grease, gas, oil, fumes
- Exposure to heat and cold
- Road-side emergency service
