SMART (Sheet Metal, Air, Rail & Transportation Union) Local #177 of Middle-Tennessee is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker to join our team! As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and installing sheet metal products, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.
Work is beginning at two locations in Clarksville, TN and we will need new, skilled members.
Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication and installation
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements :
- 6+ years of verified experience in sheet metal work
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Excellent time management skills, with a strong commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- A full set of the required hand tools to perform work (Power tools and equipment provided by employer)
