Under the general supervision of the department Head, focuses on serving Archives and Special Collections (ASC) patrons and satisfying other public service functions in the Archives and Special Collections department.
Provides public services assistance to faculty, students, staff, visiting scholars, and the public in the ASC Reading Room and to remote users as assigned, and monitors and responds to patron inquiries and requests through the patron management system (Aeon).
Completes public service enhancement projects facilitating access to materials as assigned. Provides outreach information regarding collections and services for websites, guides, social media, and special programming, and contributes to the departmental website and the design of marketing materials.
