This person would be responsible for running a coordinate measuring machine during a production process.
Job Duties :
- Maintain the coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
- Test and calibrate equipment
- Precisely measure and program CMM for measurement reports
- Read blueprints and renderings
- Perform layouts to GD&T
- Write or edit programming for new projects
- Assist in the preparation of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions
- Understand the acceptance / rejection criteria in accordance with customer specifications
- Mount and install tools, attachments and fixtures
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Document and communicate production issues
- Keep a record of inventory
- Follow safety protocols
