The Information Support Specialist I position is primarily responsible for day-to-day user support and customer service on company supported computer applications and platforms.
This position will work as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve problems and engage the appropriate resources to resolve the issue when necessary.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : .
- Responds to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Research required information using available resources
- Follow standard Support Desk procedures
- Route issues to appropriate resource
- Document all issue information according to standard operating procedure
- Log all Support Desk interactions with internal and external customers
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention or higher level of knowledge
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Prolonged standing and periodically lifting, stretching and twisting
- Prolonged sitting and terminal use
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs periodically
- Hand dexterity and strength
- Work outside normal hours may be required, including some weekends
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Work performed primarily indoors and in production type facility
This role is a 3 month contract with a possibility to convert and is ranging between $25-30 / hr based off experience
