Skills Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in one of the following disciplines : Chemical Engineering, Electrical, Computers / Systems, or Mechatronics.
- Must have between 10- and 15-years’ Automation experience.
- Experience with an operating company, systems vendor, or engineering services provider for the midstream and liquid pipeline operations & gas and / or energy industry, is preferred.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in Control Systems hardware, network architecture, integration, configuration and programming, industrial protocols, HMI Graphics and databases, and SCADA System configuration and installations.
- Extensive experience with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA or (OASYS) 7.5. including, but not limited to, application administration, maintenance, upgrades, issue investigation, and troubleshooting is required.
- Experience with the following is strongly preferred. Developing new and modifying existing SCADA applications, programs, and scripts using C, C#, PowerShell, and VB code in MS Windows and Linux Server environments.
- Supporting SCADA system hardware, software, and field and / or control center personnel.
- Support interface configurations between SCADA applications and other real-time, on-line, and batch application processes.
- Implement updates to the documentation, design, and administration of the SCADA system and related applications.
- Conduct testing and implement changes to SCADA reports, databases, and displays
- Experience with MQTT protocol and configuration, Oracle, PI, LogMate is a plus.
- Experience with PLC platforms (Allen Bradley PLC, Siemens, and other SCADA Systems (Wonderware, a plus.
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of the principles of relational databases, application interfaces, and Human Machine Interface design and implementation.
- Strong background and direct experience with multiple systems platforms, operating systems and the interactions between systems, system hardware and architecture.
- Proficient knowledge of P&IDs and instrumentation / control equipment.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, MS Teams, .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and vendors.
