Medical Assistant
A services organization in New Jersey is currently seeking a certified Medical Assistant (MA) for a promising opportunity at one of their sites in Essex County.
About the Opportunity :
- Start Date : ASAP
- Schedule : Onsite 5 days a week
- Hours : 7am to 3 : 30pm or 7 : 30am to 4pm
Responsibilities :
The Medical Assistant (MA) will
- Perform physicals and follow up with employees / candidates if needed
- File paperwork
- Perform other job-related duties, as required
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma / GED
- Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA)
- Experience with Hearing, Vision and PFT testing
- Experience and ability to navigate an Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
Desired Skills :
- NIOSH Spirometry and CAHOC certification
- Experience performing physical exams
- Experience in an Occupational Health role / setting
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements for medical clearance
- Experience with Phlebotomy and UA / UDS specimen collection
