At University Health, our speech and language pathologists (SLPs) are trained to address speech conditions in adults and children.
In children, early detection and treatment is important to learning, feeding and communicating. We provide comprehensive evaluation including testing, development and implementation of a treatment plan to meet your needs.
Our Outpatient Therapy Department is looking for an SLP to join their team of caring professionals. This is a PRN opportunity, and includes day shifts and some weekend coverage (weekend differential!).
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist as issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
New graduates may qualify with a Speech and Language Pathologist Intern license, pending full licensure in accordance with ASHA and Texas State Board of Examiner requirements.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist as issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider card.
