Test Technician

Contract Position

Responsibilities :
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and / or optical areas.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
- Comfortable fabricating complex electronics with small tolerances and Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in Fabrication role
- A completed and passed eye examination is required for this role.
- Preferred IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 Certifications
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
- Required (minimum 1 / 3 of below) : Associates of Engineering or applicable Associates Science Degree,Airframe Power plant Cert4 years at one location where the employee is going to get information more in depth.
Preferred experience with the following test equipment : Hand Held MultimeterOscilloscopeBench top power suppliesHand crimping tool
- Preferred experience with Military Specification parts and ability to reference all required tooling for class 3 Electronics Fabrication.
- Preferred experience with J-STD-001 or IPC 620 certification. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required and Eye Exam.
