Major Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to :
Core Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of pediatric dentistry.
- Perform oral exams, restorations, extractions, and prophylactic work.
- Serve as a member of a cross-functional team of Dentists that provides exceptional patient care, and performs four-handed dentistry and oral surgery.
- Treat mouth diseases and confer with physicians regarding medical / dental problems, and assign patients to plaque control or other educational programs.
- Attend staff conferences; keep clinical and other records regarding services provided, supplies and materials used.
The role is most suited to a pediatric dentist with 1-2 years of experience in a primary care clinic setting. Ideally, your fluency in Spanish will enable you to better serve our culturally diverse patients.
Ultimately, success in this role will require a high degree of interpersonal competence, which includes building effective relationships with all team members and patients.
Minimum Job Requirements
Required Skills
- Requires graduation from an accredited school of dentistry; Possession of valid D.D.S. / D.M.D. License to practice in the State of California
- Must specialize in pediatric dentistry
- Ability to operate all types of dental equipment and machinery
Required Experience
- Two or more years of experience in all phases of general dentistry and auxiliary utilization
