We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for our properties, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing regulations.
This role requires strong customer service skills and an understanding of property management practices to effectively promote and lease available units.
Very few weekends required / Up to $24 / hour
Duties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of current market trends and property features to effectively upsell units.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any conflicts that may arise during the leasing process.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies in all leasing activities.
- Assist in the management of facilities by coordinating maintenance requests and ensuring properties are well-maintained.
- Utilize property management software, such as Yardi, to track leads, applications, and tenant communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants through effective customer relationship management.
Skills
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in facilities management is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively and professionally.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Proven ability to upsell properties and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Knowledge of property management practices and relevant laws is beneficial.
