MVCC is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track, ten-monthInstructor position in the School of Art. This positionwill provide instruction for the Digital Media and Marketing program with othercourses in graphic design, photography, and video production.

Teaching facultyat MVCC have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the College mission ofproviding high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs ofour students.

Full-time faculty members teach contracted classes inaccordance with established policies and guidelines. Courses may be taught intraditional classroom settings and over the Internet.

This position may includeboth daytime and evening classes on our Utica and / orRome campuses. Specific assignments will be made according to the academicqualifications and availability of the individual and the School needs.

Inaddition to teaching digital media and marketing courses, full-time instructorsparticipate in program assessment, curriculum development, student advisementand facilitating student internship experiences, as well as recruiting for theprogram.

They serve as members of various School and College Committees.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Photography, VideoProduction or related field with experience in marketing and social mediamanagement

Preferred Qualifications :

Master’s degree in related field with experience in teaching,publication design, production of promotional materials, and studentrecruitment
