You will be an integral part of the investment team, focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and managing early-stage consumer investments.

The role involves actively participating in deal sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management, and building strategic partnerships with client firms and incubators.

A strong understanding of LLC taxation will also be essential for ensuring portfolio companies and investments are structured efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Source and co-lead early-stage consumer investment opportunities.
• Lead and manage the end-to-end deal process, including due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation.
• Support deal execution, providing critical research and analysis to ensure successful investment outcomes.
• Assist in managing portfolio companies by providing ongoing support, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and business development strategies.
• Offer strategic advice to startup portfolio companies, supporting them in fundraising and scaling their businesses.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and assist with growth and exit strategies for portfolio companies.
• Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and opportunities within the consumer investment space.
• Provide insights and recommendations on potential investment targets based on market conditions and competitive landscape analysis.
• Advise portfolio companies on LLC tax structures, focusing on maximizing tax efficiency while complying with regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic advice on pass-through taxation, multi-state tax considerations, and the impact of tax changes on the business.
• Ensure LLC companies maintain proper tax documentation and advise on filing requirements to avoid unnecessary penalties or financial inefficiencies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or consulting, with a focus on consumer startups.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and partnership management abilities.
• Passion for early-stage investments and supporting startup founders.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in working with media partnerships, and exposure to venture capital-related TV shows is a plus.
• Knowledge of the consumer tech ecosystem and early-stage investing is highly desirable.
