Duration : 6 month+ contract
Location : Seattle, WA
Description : Develop and implement test automation on the point of sale application. This is the flagship application accounting for a large portion of company revenue.
The work would consist of automation unit and functional tests on a small Kanban team focused on production defect fixes as well as backlog items.
Technical Experience and Skills :
- Strong experience with Microsoft stack C# .NET, SQL, Visual Studio Online.
- Strong experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and / or developing applications.
- Experience working in agile environments (scrum, Kanban).
- Experience developing and utilizing mocks, stubs, emulators (Microsoft fakes framework and / or custom developed mocks).
- Experience implementing Continuous Integration with TFS (CI), builds, source code management best practices.
- Experience writing and executing unit tests to increase code coverage and quality.
Bonus Skills :
- Experience automating and utilizing VMware Vcloud Virtual Machine management.
- POS development and / or testing experience.
- Web Dev skills (HTML, JavaScript) for reporting and communicating.
- Performance Testing.
