Job Summary

Position : Full-Time (40 Hours per week)

Schedule : 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm Monday-Friday

Compensation : $19-22 / hr + bonuses- Depends on Experience

PRIMARY FUNCTION : We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory / Receiving Specialist.

An Inventory Specialist will need meticulous accuracy and exceptional math and observation skills. Some of their responsibilities include counting and balancing merchandise, prepping inventory ordering reports, receiving inventory by scanning them with a bar code reader.

You will also identify any discrepancies or losses at the end of business operations each month. Ultimately, you will be responsible for tracking all inventory to ensure our company maintains proper inventory levels for products, equipment and supplies as needed.

Warehouse Shipping and Receiving functions. Inventory receipt, handling, storage and order fulfillment. Responsible to receive inventory products and stocking, all products in the warehouse, in a complete, timely, safe and efficient manner, utilizing and operating various means of material handling equipment and inventory and order recognition tools such as RF scanners to achieve operational excellence and company goal of superior customer service and 100% On Time In Full order fulfillment.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :

Verify the accuracy of inbound receiving lists, and receive product into inventory using the appropriate tools and systems , computer systems, i.

e. RF scanning, if applicable

• Engage in warehousing duties such storing of inventory, housekeeping duties, and product movement.
• Update and communicate new UPCs to all of the proper channels.
• Run cycle count / inventory management responsibilities as assigned by the manager
• Maintaining clean, safe work areas at all times
• Work with various carriers and vendors to report products are missing or damaged within a shipment
• Prepare buying reports.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Warehousing operations, minimal computer skills, fork lift, and pallet jack operations.

Must have customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills for processing documents such as bills of lading, transfers and pick tickets.

Math skills including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. High school diploma or its equivalent. Works with RF guns and scanning procedures.

Able to utilize computer system to check inventory and orders and time management.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to 80 lbs (VERY FREQUENT LIFTING).
• Must obtain and maintain power equipment operating certification, i.e., forklift, pallet jack, and side loader
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to handle a fast paced and ever changing environment
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player
