The Role

Responsible for start-up and commissioning, operations and maintenance training, preventive maintenance inspections and service of BlastOne products and systems and customer facilities and locations.

Conduct professionalism while being the direct representation of BlastOne when face to face with clients.

Full time travel.

Points of responsibility include :

  • Detailed review of new system installations to confirm to print and functioning as designed.
  • Conduct start up and commission of new installations, and service or repaired equipment.
  • Generate commissioning and service reports.
  • Conduct training for operations and maintenance groups.
  • Conduct over phone support to customers.
  • Trouble shoot and diagnose electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical assemblies
  • Review PLC with existing PLC programs for troubleshoot and diagnose.
  • Ability to modify PLC program (not a requirement but a plus)

Working Environment :

  • Manufacturing facilities
  • Heavy dirt and dust potential
  • Monday thru Friday, 7am 5pm
  • Occasional Saturday and Sunday
  • Occasional off shift (2nd and 3rd)
  • Travel up to 100%

Required Skills / Qualifications

  • Mechanical / electrical / pneumatics / HVAC / structural installation
  • Ability to interpret electrical blueprint drawings.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical blueprint drawings.
  • Favored, but not required : Associates of Science Mechanical Engineering of Technology, or Electrical Engineering Technology

3) years technical experience in maintenance, technical services or equivalent

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery, including but not limited to : fork truck, lull, scissor lift, aerial lift
  • Can conduct mechanical assembly using hand tools
  • Can conduct mechanical and electrical inspections
  • Can conduct electrical assembly
  • Windows based platform
  • Microsoft Suite Word / Excel / Power Point / SharePoint
  • Allen Bradly PLC software or Schneider PLC Software
  • PLC Programming (not required)
  • Ability to lift 35lbs
  • Ability to be on your feet
