Werge & Corbin Law Group is currently seeking a dedicated legal assistant / junior paralegal to join our team! Position : Legal Assistant / Junior Litigation Paralegal with 25% Administrative Support (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Location : We offer flexible work arrangements : (1) in-office at our City Park West location in Denver, (2) a hybrid of in-office and remote, or (3) fully remote, depending on the candidate.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant / paralegal preferred.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient in filing and managing cases using CCEF (Colorado Courts E-Filing System) and CM-ECF (for Colorado federal court filings).
- Proficiency with Legal Practice Management Systems (the Firm has recently rolled out Clio)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience in Microsoft 365 preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Providing administrative executive support to the attorney team, including the partners Tom Werge and Greg Corbin.
- Managing calendars and scheduling appointments.
- Client communications and intake.
- Scheduling calls, video conferences, and in-person office meetings.
- Drafting legal documents in a junior paralegal capacity.
- Managing the conflicts check system and conducting conflicts checks.
- General administrative support.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently manage tasks.
- Excellent follow through and ability to manage attorneys
- Additional Responsibilities : 25% of this role will include administrative support to assist the Firm Director during maternity leave.
This includes tasks such as helping with overall admin support, OneDrive organization, payroll processing, tracking PTO, coordinating team events, and assisting with end-of-month invoicing and financial reporting.
