Job Duties :

The PL Team Lead role is a strategic leadership position at the agency. For effective department leadership, job duties will include the following :

• Overseeing the current personal lines teammates and the department’s book of business growth, retention, and profitability.
• Administering employee trainings and monthly RPL’s.
• Uphold agency processes and procedures including account audits.
• Utilize and implement technology applications and agency resources for the department.
• Presenting department updates and budget requests at LGW semi-annual leadership meetings.
• Host monthly team meetings and lead the annual PL AM meeting each October.
• Help with afterhours claims calls.
• Being a primary point of contact with our key carrier relationships.

Candidates will need to work in tandem with the Management Team and other Departments at LGW. Most importantly, this teammate will need to be a forward thinker focusing on continuing our culture and growth for the entire agency.

Please know, this position will require the flexibility to travel to our office locations and other meetings across the state.

Job Requirements / Competencies :

• Licensed required in Montana for Property and Casualty
• 5 years Agency experience required
• 2 years leadership experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills; verbally and written.
• Detail oriented and able to maintain compliance standards.
• Must be dependable, provide timely response, and complete work activities.
• Flexibility to travel to our office locations and other meetings across the state.
