Requirements Position Summary
The Business Process Outsourcing Specialist is responsible for accurate processing and reporting of trust payables, receivables, securities settlement and custody, document generation and review, and trust system maintenance.
Manage multiple tasks under a time sensitive delivery schedule, maintain confidential client information in a highly-regulated environment, and assist in the compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
The specialist will participate in the execution of special projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist with daily trust and securities operations activities.
- Process dividend and interest income activity related to client holdings held by custodian ensuring timely deposit of funds to client accounts while maintaining complete and accurate documentation and evidence of account balancing.
- Ensure accuracy of daily trust account processing and balance daily reports.
- Reconcile assets held at custodian(s).
- Prepare appropriate documentation to obtain client authorization for processing of certain requests.
- Review, maintain and retain in appropriate locations, all required documentation ensuring complete and accurate retention per policy
- Participation in designated groups and projects as assigned
- Develop, maintain and improve standardized documentation, procedures, processes and scripts related to duties and responsibilities.
- Participates in ASCs conferences and regional trainings.
- Provide assistance in developing, maintaining, and testing disaster recovery plans.
- Stays abreast of all related industry best practices, trends, new technology and methodologies.
- Maintain general knowledge of ASCs products and services.
- After hours and weekend work required when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
- College degree in a related field such as finance, or accounting or equivalent work experience.
- CSOP, ATOP, or other industry certifications preferred
- Ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities and multi-task effectively and without getting rattled
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor in stressful situation
- Willing to consider remote work option for the right candidate

- Technical ability or knowledge in the areas of trust operations and financial services
- Demonstrated understanding of technical solutions

- Ability to plan, assign, review, supervise, and inspect all aspects of the outsourcing process, schedule project change requests and coordinate work with other departments if necessary
- Ability to express ideas clearly concisely, verbally and in writing to groups and individuals
