SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an Area Manager to lead operations management of District Managers in the Atlanta area.
The aim is to ensure that SAGE locations are performing to the highest standards, executing and delivering every element of SAGE's programs, collaborating with the sales team to expand SAGE's presence with site visits in our chosen industry segments, opening new business, and delighting our clients and customers.
The best candidate will have superior skills in making presentations.
Extensive travel is expected. The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Atlanta area.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

What you'll do :
- Provide leadership and guidance to the area composed of hourly and salaried employees. Foster client relationships and foster these relationships.
- Ensure that customer expectations are exceeded not just at special events, but every day.
- Travel to venues and check that company guidelines are followed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and health standards across all locations.
- Implement and monitor operational procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, employee development, and a customer-centric approach.
- Ensure that all accounts are operating within budget, flagging financial problems in advance and devising solutions acceptable to SAGE management and clients.
- Aid your teams in hiring great teams, teaching and motivating, constructively reviewing, and making staffing changes as necessary to maintain excellence.
- Apprise the Regional Manager of opportunities, challenges, and successes of venues under your purview.
- Aid in the sales process with site visits, sales presentations, and any necessary follow-through.
What you'll need :
- Career demonstrating growth of leadership skills, client skills and knowledge of the food service business.
- Proven experience as a regional manager or in a similar leadership role within the food service industry, campus dining preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, health standards, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets for P&L and fee accounts.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Hands on culinary experience a plus.
