Our client for the Sr. Sales Manager / Director - Stellantis opportunity is a global industrial manufacturing company and is ranked in the Global Fortune 500.

This organization services customers in a range of industries including, but not limited to automotive, industrial, construction, agriculture, oil and gas, energy, packaging, appliances, and more.

This client has a wide range of solutions for ICE and EV applications.

The Sr. Sales Manager / Director - Stellantis will be tasked with driving global account strategy and regional execution with Stellantis and Tier 1 suppliers.

This person will be the "CEO" of the Stellantis account driving strategy, growth, account management, etc. while driving global synergy and global support to the other regions with the Stellantis account.

The Sales Director will manage a team of 3-4 Sales Managers and a Forecasting Analyst.

Job Description

  • Increase market share and development of new business opportunities with Stellantis for the NA region.
  • Build strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for key targets and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to grow market share and diverse product portfolio.
  • Achieve and exceed Budget Sales and Gross Margin targets.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts in other regions to drive, support and execute overall global account strategy, delivery and quality with Stellantis.
  • Ensure all reports, plans, forecasts and administrative requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner both personally and for the team.
  • Work cross-functionally with new product development, application engineering, customer service, finance, manufacturing and others.
  • Meet all reporting deadlines as are set by senior management.
  • Identify new and profitable opportunities with existing customers and leverage these to increase profitable sales with them.
  • Manage projects from concept to launch on time and within budget.
  • Provide regular and relevant feedback on Market conditions, competitor activities and progress towards business objectives.
  • Work on short, mid, and long term strategy planning and forecasting ranging from 3 months to 10 years out.
  • Analyze the current market position, i.e. the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
  • Working with the Marketing team develop marketing material, strategies and justify new project opportunities to support the sales effort.
  • Participate in APQP meetings and follow up on commercial and customer related issues.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in a change oriented culture.
  • Report on team members activities and progress while also developing and mentoring team members removing barriers for success.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related. Engineering or Technical degree preferred, but not required.
  • 10 plus years of automotive sales experience calling on OEMs preferable Stellantis.
  • 3 plus years of sales management experience leading a sales and support team.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments.
  • Experience with steel preferred, but not required.
  • Must have experience with business development, program launches, and account management.
  • Prior experience working in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong hunter mentality with a strong track record of development new business.
  • Analytical and organizational skills, high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Experience working in a global organization preferred.

What's on Offer

Competitive base salary $150,000 - $175,000, bonus, car mileage / program, full benefits, 401K, vacation, holidays, highly visible role globally and in North America.

Relocation package offered if needed.
