Accounting Associate
Job Summary : Perform various accounting duties based on assignments and department needs.
Responsibilities :
- AP invoice entry and matching
- Standard cost and job costing functions as needed
- Journal Entries for assigned accounts
- Assist with AR functions as needed
- Research and audit requirements as needed
- Sales and Use Tax experience
- Cash forecasting for vendor and non-vendor invoices
- Account reconciliations - AP and AR
- Process payments and balance accounts
Education / Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of a 2 year degree in accounting with a minimum of 2 years experience preferred.
Qualifications :
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Quality customer service
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to re-prioritize under changing circumstances
- Thorough understanding of accounting functions
- Able to work individually and as a team
