About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 36 hours per week, Day / Evening, 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, variation of 6 : 30am-7pm with possible 9 : 40am-10pm Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required.
Must have experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and / or Acuity Adaptable area. Experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital is required.
License : Must have a valid nursing license from the state or a compact license. Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Must-Have : Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of the job location.- At least two references from a recent work environment (supervisor or manager).
Job Description : Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan for patient care in the operating room.- Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to enhance surgical case progression and turnover.
Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care according to policies and standards of care.- Float to multiple units as needed based on staffing requirements.
